Post-doc position available
One year theoretical early stage researcher (ESR) position is available on a EU-funded project, which is part of the Marie Curie initial training network (ITN) "ITNNANO" (http://cordis.europa.eu/fetch?CALLER=FP7_PROJ_EN&ACTION=D&DOC=1&CAT=PROJ&RCN=92970). The appointed ESRs should satisfy the following requirements:
- NON-italian citizenship (no restriction on non-Europerans)
- Be in the first FOUR years of their research career
- At the time of the appointment is made the ESR should STILL be a Ph.D. student.
Location: the workplace is located at the University of Catania, Viale A. Doria 6 Ed. 10, 95125 Catania.
Beginning of the contract and duration: anytime within 2011, one year contract.
Subject : Nanodevices for quantum computation and communication.
Basic theoretical expertise on quantum
dissipative systems in the context of solid state physics and/or quantum optics is required.
